1. Introduction & Ownership

This website, www.crcrepair.co.uk, is owned and operated by CrC (London) Limited (Company Number: 08040156), a company registered in England and Wales, trading as CRC Repair®.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, our device repair services (“Repair Services”), and the purchase of refurbished/second-hand devices and accessories from our online shop (“Goods”). By using our website, commissioning a repair, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • “We/Us/Our/CRC (London) Limited”: The legal entity trading as CRC Repair®.
  • “You/Your/Customer”: The person using our website, services, or purchasing goods.
  • “Device”: The mobile, tablet, laptop, computer, gaming console, or wearable device subject to a repair or being sold.
  • “Accessories”: Items such as chargers, cables, cases, or headphones, either sold with a Device or separately.
  • “Goods”: Refurbished or second-hand Devices and Accessories sold via our online shop.
  • “Selected Store”: The CRC Repair store location you choose for collection during checkout.

PART A: REPAIR SERVICES AGREEMENT

A1. Agreement Commencement & Performance
This Repair Agreement commences when you book a repair and continues until we have repaired or returned your Device and received any payment due. We will perform the Repair using reasonable care and skill, subject to parts availability.

A2. Repair Process & Parts

  • We will use the type of parts (e.g., original, high-quality compatible) chosen by you at booking.
  • You are not required to restore (factory reset) your Device, but this may delay a full functional check and the repair completion.
  • Time estimates for completion are estimates only. Level 3 (Logic Board) repairs may take at least 5 working days. We will notify you if additional, unforeseen repairs are needed and provide a revised cost estimate.

A3. Data & Liability

  • Data backup is your sole responsibility. We accept no liability for loss or corruption of data however caused. We highly recommend you back up your Device before any repair.
  • We do not accept liability for any progression of damage: (i) where a Device has been repaired elsewhere prior to our service; (ii) for liquid-damaged Devices, as opening them can cause further, irreparable damage.

A4. Completion, Collection & Storage

  • We will notify you when your Device is ready for collection. Uncollected Devices will be transferred to our HQ for storage, with return delivery charged to you.
  • We are entitled to keep your Device until all charges are paid and may charge a storage fee.
  • Devices not collected within 56 days of notification may be recycled.

A5. Repair Warranty
Our repairs are covered by the following warranty, linked to the Device’s IMEI/serial number and the original customer:

  • The warranty covers the re-occurrence of the original fault on the repaired/replaced part only. It does not cover accidental damage, new faults, or if the Device changes ownership.
  • Following liquid damage repair, any waterproofing/resistance cannot be guaranteed. If further liquid-related issues occur within the warranty period, we will re-assess and re-quote.
  • Warranty seals may be installed. Tampering with these seals will void our warranty.
  • Use of our service may void your manufacturer’s warranty.

A6. Limitation of Liability for Repairs

  • If your Device is damaged beyond economical repair due to our service, and full payment has been received, you are entitled to a fully functional refurbished device of equal value (model/condition as received).
  • Our total liability is limited to, at our option: (a) re-performing the service; (b) paying the cost of re-performance; or (c) refunding what you paid.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses (loss of business, revenue, data, etc.).
  • Any claim must be notified to us in writing within three months of you becoming aware of it.

PART B: TERMS OF SALE (E-COMMERCE)

B1. Orders & Contract Formation

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase from CRC (London) Limited.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order. A legally binding contract is formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email and your payment is authorised/cleared.

B2. Pricing & Payment (Section 4.1)
We accept payments securely via Stripe:

  • All major credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).
  • Klarna (Pay in 3, Pay in 30, Financing).
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay.
  • Bank Transfer (manual or via Open Banking).

Important: Bank Transfer payments cause a delay. Your order is processed only after funds clear. The 2pm dispatch cut-off is based on the date of clearance, not order date.

B3. Delivery & Collection (Sections 5.1 – 5.4)
Delivery Options:

  1. Home Delivery:
    • Economy (3-5 w.d.): £3.49 (FREE > £100)
    • Normal (1-2 w.d.): £5.99 (FREE > £199)
    • Express (Next Day): £6.99
    • Dispatch: Orders placed before 2pm, Mon-Fri, are dispatched same day.
  2. FREE Store Collection: Available at our stores: Bournemouth, Colchester, Farringdon, Glasgow, Norwich, Surrey Quays, Romford, Stoke-on-Trent, Whetstone, Wolverhampton. Use our Store Locator: www.crcrepair.co.uk/store-locator.
    • Ready in 30 mins if in stock at your Selected Store.
    • Ready in 2 working days if transferred from another store.
    • You must collect within 14 days of the “Ready for Collection” email, with your Order Confirmation and Photo ID.

B4. Warranty for Refurbished Goods (Sections 6.2 & 6.4)

  • Devices: Come with a 24-month (2-year) warranty from delivery date.
  • Accessories: Come with a 12-month (1-year) warranty.
  • Standard Batteries: Supplied with >80% health, covered for 30 days (as a consumable).
  • New Battery Upgrade: Available at checkout for a fee, adds 1 working day to delivery/collection. New batteries have a 12-month warranty.

These warranties do not cover accidental damage, cosmetic wear, misuse, or software alterations.

B5. Returns & Refunds (Section 6.1)

  • You have a 14-day right to cancel from receipt of Goods for any reason.

  • Critical Condition: Returned Devices must be free of FRP (Google Lock) and iCloud Activation Lock. Locked devices will be returned at your cost or a deduction made.
  • Goods must be unused, in original packaging, with all accessories.
  • You pay return postage unless faulty. Refunds issued within 14 days of receipt to original payment method.

PART C: GENERAL TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL

C1. Marketing Communications
By using our services, you consent to us sending occasional marketing emails (offers, updates). Every email contains an “Unsubscribe” link. You can opt out anytime at hello@crcrepair.co.uk. We do not sell your data.

C2. Website Use & Intellectual Property (Sections 6.0, 6.9, 6.10)

  • Website content is for general information, subject to change without notice. Use is at your own risk.
  • All content (design, text, graphics, logos) is our property or licensed to us and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce it without permission.
  • You may link to our site fairly and legally, but not to suggest an association we have not approved.
  • You agree to indemnify us against any losses resulting from your violation of these Terms.

C3. Force Majeure & Severability
We are not liable for failure or delay due to causes beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains valid.

C4. Entire Agreement & Changes
This document constitutes the entire agreement. We may modify these Terms at any time by posting updates on the site. Your continued use signifies acceptance.

C5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
